Avoca builds the sidebar for the team and user who are currently signed in. It is normal for two teams—or two users on the same team—to see different pages.

What controls visibility

A page may depend on one or more of the following:
  • Enabled products: Product areas appear only when they are enabled for the team.
  • User permissions: Some settings and actions require a team administrator or a specific permission.
  • CRM and channel: ServiceTitan-only, messaging-only, or calling-only tools appear only when relevant.
  • Feature rollout: Avoca may enable a newer experience for selected teams before making it generally available.
  • Employee-only access: Internal administration and diagnostic pages are not part of the customer dashboard.
An item being described in the help center does not guarantee that it is enabled for every team.

Check your access

If a teammate asks you to open a page you cannot see:
  1. Verify the team selected in the team switcher.
  2. Ask a team administrator to confirm your membership and permissions.
  3. Confirm that the product or integration is enabled for that team.
  4. Refresh the dashboard after an administrator changes access.
  5. Contact Avoca Support if the expected item remains unavailable.
Do not use another person’s account to reach a restricted page. Ask an administrator to grant the appropriate access instead.

Feature-gated pages

Some documentation describes an option as when enabled or if available. This means the same workflow is customer-facing, but its availability is controlled for each team. Examples can include newer call views, hosted or embedded web chat, analytics modules, and CRM-specific settings. Direct URLs do not bypass these controls. If you open a bookmarked page without the required access, Avoca may redirect you or show an access message.

Legacy and current dashboard access

The current dashboard at dashboard.avoca.ai is the default. Some users may have Switch to Legacy Dashboard in the user menu while older workflows are being migrated. The two dashboards can coexist, but their navigation and available fields may differ.
