Avoca provides a guided compliance workflow for teams that send business text messages. Open the Avoca dashboard, then go to Settings → Business Info → Compliance.

Registration

The Compliance page collects information required for the registration process, including:
  • Business and address details
  • An authorized representative
  • Privacy policy and terms URLs
  • A description of the messaging use case
  • Proof of how customers consent to receive messages
Complete every step with accurate, publicly verifiable information. Avoca can submit and track the supported registration workflow, but approval and timing depend on the reviewing carriers and providers. If a submission needs changes, correct the requested information in the dashboard.
Registration does not replace customer consent or your organization’s legal obligations. Use messaging only for customers who are eligible to receive it.

Opt-outs

Avoca’s standard workflow copy tells customers they can reply STOP to opt out. Supported messaging channels record opt-outs so those contacts can be excluded from future sends. Open Messages → Opt-Outs to review opted-out contacts. Remove an opt-out only when you are authorized to do so and the customer’s current preference has been confirmed. CRM tags and other configured suppression rules may also prevent a send. If registration status or opt-out behavior looks incorrect, open Settings → Support in the dashboard and include the affected channel and approximate time. Do not include private customer content unless Support requests it securely.
