Avoca provides scheduling and workflow controls that help spread outreach over the intended time period. It does not guarantee a fixed delivery time or delivery rate; carriers and messaging providers also apply throughput and filtering rules.

Controls to review

In the Avoca dashboard:
  • Use Outbound → Campaigns to set the launch time, timezone, allowed sending period, and available recurring limits.
  • Use Outbound → Workflows to set supported delays between steps and outcome branches.
  • Use Outbound → Preferences for team-level campaign defaults when available.
  • Use Outbound → Exclusions and Messages → Opt-Outs to suppress contacts who should not receive the campaign.
  • Review holiday handling before a scheduled or recurring send.
The exact controls depend on campaign type and team configuration. If the dashboard does not expose a per-second or per-channel limit, do not assume one can be changed by the campaign owner.

Before a large send

  1. Validate the audience count and selection criteria.
  2. Preview the rendered content and targeting. Use a channel-specific test action only when the editor explicitly provides one.
  3. Start with a limited, controlled audience when the workflow or sender is new.
  4. Monitor campaign status, replies, failures, and opt-outs.
  5. Pause the campaign if the copy, audience, or response volume is not behaving as expected.
For a large or time-sensitive launch, use Settings → Support to confirm the plan with Avoca before scheduling it.
