Open Settings → Business Info → Skills. This tile appears only when Skills is enabled and your role has access.
Technician skills are read directly from ServiceTitan. ServiceTitan is the source of truth; the legacy sync and manual skill-management controls shown on these pages are not required for current capacity and backend behavior.

Review technicians

The Technicians tab lists each technician’s business unit and skills. Use the filters to answer different questions:
  • Filter by Job Type shows technicians who hold every skill required by that job type. A job type with no required skills is shown as open to all technicians.
  • Filter by Business Unit narrows the list to one or more units and can surface technicians with no assigned unit.
  • Filter by Skills finds technicians who have all selected skills and can surface technicians with no skills.
When a job type is selected, the page separates technicians who can run the job from those who cannot and lists the missing skills for each ineligible technician.

Correct missing or incorrect skills

  1. Confirm the technician, business unit, and required job type in ServiceTitan.
  2. Correct the skill assignment in ServiceTitan.
  3. Return to Avoca and reload the Skills page.
  4. Select the job type again and confirm that the technician moves to the expected eligibility group.
  5. Re-test the related capacity or dispatching scenario.
Do not use All Skills edits as the source of truth for current capacity decisions. That tab maintains a legacy Avoca copy, and the page explicitly notes that its changes do not affect capacity or other backend features.
Avoid using the legacy periodic-sync, request-sync, duplicate-removal, or manual assignment controls as a substitute for correcting ServiceTitan. They can make the page appear different without fixing the data current product logic reads.
If a technician remains missing after the CRM record is correct, verify that you selected the correct Avoca team and ServiceTitan tenant, then contact Avoca Support with the technician and job-type identifiers. Do not include CRM credentials.
