Reserve with Google (RWG) lets customers book your services directly from your Google Maps listing. Once activated, a Book Online button appears on your Google Maps profile within 24 hours.
Prerequisites
- Simple Scheduler must be set up and active
- Each service type must have a description configured
Set up service type descriptions
Open Simple Scheduler settings
Go to the Simple Scheduler settings in your Avoca Dashboard.
Add descriptions for each service type
Navigate to the Service Types tab. Fill out a description for each service type.Click Use default description to auto-generate a description. You can also write a custom one that follows the guidelines shown in the tooltip.
Enable Reserve with Google
Go to the Reserve with Google tab
In Simple Scheduler settings, click the Reserve with Google tab.You will see a warning if any service types are missing descriptions from the previous step.
Add a location
Click Add location. Repeat the following steps for each location you want to enable.
Enter your business details
Fill out the Business Name and Address exactly as they appear on Google Maps.
Validate your information
Click Validate and apply any suggested corrections if applicable.
Verify the Google Maps listing
Click the link to your business in Google Maps and confirm it is the correct listing.
Copy the location coordinates
In Google Maps, right-click on your business location pin. The coordinates appear as the top item in the menu. Click the coordinates to copy them to your clipboard.
Paste the coordinates
Go back to the Simple Scheduler page and paste the coordinates into the modal.
Save the location
Click Confirm & Save.
Enable RWG Status
Click the toggle to enable RWG Status.
The Book Online button should appear on your Google Maps listing within 24 hours. Last modified on March 25, 2026
