# How can ServiceTitan activity trigger customer messages?

> Choose between outbound campaigns built from synced CRM data and ServiceTitan customer notifications.

Avoca supports two common ServiceTitan messaging patterns. Use the one that matches the event and customer experience you need.

## Customer notifications for job activity

Open [the Avoca dashboard](https://dashboard.avoca.ai), then go to **Outbound → Customer Notifications**. For supported ServiceTitan teams, this page can configure messages for:

* Job Scheduled
* Job Cancelled
* Job Rescheduled
* Appointment reminders

Each notification offers the variables supported by that event. Choose the sending number, scope, timing, and template shown in the editor, then test the result before enabling it.

## Campaigns based on synced CRM data

Use this approach for broader or multi-step outreach:

1. Confirm the required entities are healthy under **Settings → CRM Sync**.
2. Build or save the qualifying audience under **Outbound → Audience Filters**, or choose another supported audience source during campaign creation.
3. Build the contact sequence under **Outbound → Workflows**.
4. Create the campaign under **Outbound → Campaigns**.
5. Review schedule, filters, exclusions, opt-outs, and test output before launch.

An audience filter evaluates synced data; it is not automatically an immediate webhook for every ServiceTitan change. Timing depends on the CRM sync and campaign configuration.

<Warning>
  Do not send a promotional or automated message merely because a customer matches CRM criteria. Confirm consent, purpose, frequency, and suppression rules first.
</Warning>

If you need an event that is not shown in Customer Notifications or supported by the audience builder, open **Settings → Support** to confirm the correct implementation.
