# Simple Scheduler: Set Up

> Simple Scheduler is Avoca's fast, streamlined web scheduling tool that helps you capture and convert more leads. This guide will walk you through the setup process.

## Overview

Simple Scheduler captures leads in approximately 7 seconds and features:

* Progressive form design to reduce abandonment
* Instant phone number capture for lead recovery
* Less than 1 minute human follow-up on incomplete forms
* Integration with ServiceTitan, HouseCallPro, and Workiz

## Widget Appearance

1. **Logo URL**: Provide the URL to your company logo
2. **Primary Color**: Choose your brand color for the widget
3. ~~**Privacy Policy URL**: Link to your privacy policy~~

## General Settings

### Basic Information

1. **Name Scheduler**
2. **Configure Fees**
   1. Can use pre-existing fees in the Avoca Dashboard
3. **Configure Contact Phone Number** *(Optional)*
   1. Displayed in error messages for customer support (e.g., "Please contact XXX-XXX-XXXX")
4. **Lead Time:** *(Optional)* Minimum advance notice required for bookings (e.g., 60 = customers cannot book within 60 minutes)
5. **First Step Question:** *(Optional)* Opening question shown to customers at the start of the booking flow
6. **Completion Message** *(Optional)*

### Section Names

*(Optional)* Customize the display names for each scheduling step

## Service Types

* Set up the service types you offer (e.g., HVAC Service, Plumbing, Electrical) with custom icons for each.
* Description is optional

## Questions

Add any custom questions or information fields you'd like to collect during the booking process. You can also display different questions based on the service type selected.

* Examples include:
  * Is your system gas, electric, or oil?
  * How old is your system?
* Format:
  1. Question text
  2. Answer options
  3. Applicable issue types

### Booking Windows

Define your availability timeframes. The scheduler will offer morning or afternoon availability options to customers while booking into specific time windows behind the scenes.

  Simple Scheduler works with both ACP (Adaptive Capacity Planning) and non-ACP scheduling modes.
