# Settings: Changing your Team Name

    Open **Avoca**.
  </Step>

  <Step>
    From the sidebar, click on **Settings**.
  </Step>

  <Step>
    In **Settings**, go to the **General** section.
  </Step>

  <Step>
    In the General section, locate **Team Name**.
  </Step>

  <Step>
    Update your team’s visible name in the **Team Name** field.
  </Step>

  <Step>
    Make sure the name is clear and precise so it isn’t confused with another team.
  </Step>

  <Step>
    Save your changes.
  </Step>
